ABOUT US

Aldabra Productions has been founded by Andrea Maggi, a Producer of documentaries for many years now.
In this capacity he has produced many award winning programmes such as "Hippo Talk" , "A Dog's Life", "Islanders", "A Sea of Surprises", "Islands without frontiers", and many others with co-productions partners such as Discovery Channel, Canal+, RAI, NHK, NDR, etc.

He directed film crews in the Patagonian Andes as in the African Savannas, in the waters of remote atolls as well as in the streets of Manhattan, along the shores of lakes as well as in tracks in the desert.
In each production he puts his experience and knowledge starting from research and script development to the end in the editing room.

Andrea has now brought together a staff of permanent and free-lance members under the umbrella of Aldabra in order to produce Natural History, Science, Ethnology, and History documentaries of the highest quality.
